Jeff Evans as Aquifer Man

Faster than a jet of water, more powerful than a raging river, and able to leap small streams in a single bound, Aquifer Man shares ways to protect and conserve our water.

Aquifers are underground storehouses of water.  Aquifer Man is the alter-ego of magician Jeff Evans.  A guardian of the environment and spokesman for the denizens of the deep, Aquifer Man shares tips you can use for preserving our precious water natural resources.  And, his “water wizardry” will have you amazed and amused.

Swim, paddle, or float into the library to catch this brand new magic show celebrating water and the magical things you can learn from books.

“Thanks so much for the fantastic performance. Your show was very entertaining! I especially loved how relevant your show was to libraries, literacy and the 2010 Summer Reading programming.”
     -Sheri Miller, Whitman County Library

"Yesterday we hosted Jeff Evans and 'the Magical Adventures of Aquifer Man' at both the Langley and Freeland libraries. He was fabulous! It was a perfect start to our summer. He had the kids and the adults mesmerized by his magic tricks and giggling at his jokes. He did an excellent job promoting the library and immediately following his program all of our books on magic were checked out. We are already making plans to bring him back."
-Jayanne Bixby, Freeland & Langley Libraries

"Jeff was an amazing entertainer.  He kept a room full of (100?) kids aged 5-11, plus a few dozen adults, rapt with attention for an hour.  He was fast-paced, witty, and incorporated childrens' spontaneous comments into the show as if he knew them personally.  He used the magic to communicate basic facts about water and aquifers in a fun and entertaining way; I figured it was sponsored by the Water Dept.  Jeff is young, energetic, and clearly enjoys his work.  The magic tricks were flawless (to my untrained eye), but I can't decide which was better; the tricks or the stand-up comedy.  A top notch professional show; NOT your same old boring magic show."
